A.R. Rahman composed the soundtrack for the Tamil film “Bigil,”
marking his second collaboration with director Atlee and his fifth with actor Vijay.
The album features five songs, with lyrics by Vivek,
and was released by Sony Music India. Notably, actor Vijay sang the song “Verithanam,” his first time singing for a Rahman composition.
The soundtrack includes the popular women’s anthem “Singappenney,” which was released as the first single.
