“Bring It On, Ghost” is a 2016 South Korean television series
that follows the story of Park Bong-pal, a young man with the unique ability to see ghosts. This ability, while intriguing, has also made his life difficult.
Determined to live a normal life, Bong-pal works as an exorcist, banishing spirits to earn enough money for a procedure that will finally allow him to see the world like everyone else.
His life takes an unexpected turn when he encounters Kim Hyun-ji, a feisty high school student who died in a tragic accident and is now a wandering spirit. Believing that Bong-pal holds the key to understanding why she remains earthbound, Hyun-ji convinces him to let her move in.
Their unlikely partnership leads to unexpected consequences. Not only does Hyun-ji help Bong-pal fight more powerful ghosts, but she also challenges his worldview, teaching him that not all spirits are malevolent. As they work together, a unique bond forms, and Bong-pal, a lifelong loner, finds himself falling in love with Hyun-ji, who returns his affection.
However, their budding romance is threatened by a dangerous presence. An evil spirit, responsible for both Hyun-ji’s accident and Bong-pal’s ability to see ghosts, begins to stalk them, adding a layer of suspense and danger to their already unconventional relationship.
