North Korean officer Im Cheol-ryung is
sent to South Korea to capture his rogue superior,
Cha Ki-seong, who stole counterfeit money plates and murdered Cheol-ryung’s wife.
Suspicious South Korean detective Kang Jin-tae is assigned to monitor Cheol-ryung, fearing personal revenge.
Despite initial conflict, the two eventually team up, pursuing Ki-seong, who kidnaps Jin-tae’s family.
They ultimately confront and kill Ki-seong, later embarking on a new joint mission.
