“Hotel del Luna”

is a supernatural hotel in Seoul’s Myeong-dong,

invisible in its true form during the day and accessible only to ghosts with unfinished business.

Its staff, bound by grudges, have been there for decades or centuries, except for the general manager, a human “passerby” needed for real-world interactions.

Jang Man-wol, the hotel’s owner, is bound to it due to a sin committed a millennium ago.

Through a deal orchestrated by the deity Magu, Man-wol meets Gu Chan-sung’s father, agreeing that his son will work for her in exchange for the father’s life.

Twenty-one years later, after his father’s death, the grown-up and level-headed perfectionist Gu Chan-sung returns to South Korea and, fulfilling the agreement, becomes the general manager of Hotel del Luna. Through Chan-sung, the secrets of the hotel and its enigmatic owner, Man-wol, are gradually revealed.
