“Kung Fu Killer” (also known as “Last of the Best”)
follows Hahou Mo, a martial arts expert imprisoned for accidental manslaughter.
When a serial killer,
Fung Yu-sau, begins targeting and killing martial arts masters, Hahou offers to help the police in exchange for his freedom.
Inspector Luk Yuen-Sum agrees, and Hahou helps deduce Yu-sau’s next victims.
They discover Yu-sau’s twisted ambition: to become the ultimate martial arts master by defeating the best, driven by grief over his wife’s death.
Hahou and Luk race to protect potential targets, but Yu-sau’s true aim is revealed when he targets Hahou’s wife, Sinn Ying. A fierce battle ensues, culminating in a highway showdown between Hahou and Yu-sau. Yu-sau is ultimately killed by police gunfire, and Hahou is exonerated.
In the aftermath, Hahou resumes his role as a police self-defense instructor and opens his own martial arts school, marking a new chapter in his life.
