“Miss Granny”

tells the heartwarming and humorous story of Oh Mal-soon,

a 74-year-old widow. She lives with her son’s family,

creating a tense atmosphere with her depressed daughter-in-law. Mal-soon, however, is immensely proud of her son, a university professor, whom she raised single-handedly.

When her daughter-in-law is hospitalized, Mal-soon’s son decides to send her to a nursing home. Devastated, Mal-soon wanders the streets and stumbles upon a mysterious photo studio promising to capture the moments of one’s youth. Believing it will be her last portrait, she takes a photo, only to emerge from the studio transformed into a vibrant 20-year-old woman.

Embracing this unexpected second chance, Mal-soon adopts the name Oh Doo-ri, inspired by Audrey Hepburn, and begins to live life to the fullest. Her youthful appearance and eccentric, motherly behavior attract the attention of her grandson, Ji-ha, and a music producer, Han Seung-woo. Ji-ha invites her to join his band, and she becomes their lead singer.

As Doo-ri, she finds herself torn between two men: her longtime friend and former café worker, Mr. Park, and the charming Seung-woo. Her newfound happiness is threatened when Ji-ha is critically injured. Doo-ri makes a selfless choice, sacrificing her youth to save her grandson.

In the end, Ji-ha’s band continues with his sister as the lead singer, and Doo-ri, back in her elderly form, remains a devoted fan. Mr. Park, also having visited the photo studio, becomes young again and finds Mal-soon, their relationship picking up where it left off, full of playful banter and affection.
