“Psychokinesis”

tells the story of Seok-heon,

an ordinary security guard who gains telekinetic powers after a meteor strikes a nearby spring.

His estranged daughter, Roo-mi,

runs a fried chicken restaurant and is battling a corrupt construction company, Tae-san, who wants to demolish her business.

When Roo-mi’s mother is killed during a violent eviction by Tae-san’s thugs, Seok-heon reconnects with his daughter. He witnesses the company’s intimidation tactics and decides to use his newfound powers to help Roo-mi and the other local shop owners fight back.

Seok-heon’s abilities create a sensation, allowing him to protect the community and thwart Tae-san’s plans. However, Tae-san’s Director Hong uses her influence to frame Seok-heon and continue their demolition efforts.

In a dramatic climax, Seok-heon breaks out of jail, flies to rescue Roo-mi from a dangerous situation, and defeats Tae-san’s leader, Min.

Four years later, Seok-heon is released from prison, finding Roo-mi and her lawyer, Jung-hyun, now engaged. They visit the abandoned construction site, a testament to Tae-san’s failed project. Seok-heon reunites with his daughter and the community at her new restaurant, “Superpower Chicken,” using his powers to serve customers, bringing joy and a sense of triumph.
