Ronal, a weak but intelligent barbarian,

Joined by a bard and an elf, he teams up with a powerful shield-maiden, Zandra,
to find a legendary sword capable of defeating Volcazar.
Despite his cowardice, Ronal’s intelligence and a budding romance with Zandra help him overcome obstacles.
In the end, he reclaims the sword, defeats Volcazar and the demon he resurrected, and returns a celebrated hero.
