Aimless after her mother’s death and a breakup,
flight attendant Hong Na-ri returns home to find Go Nan-gil, her late mother’s much younger second husband.
Initially suspicious, Na-ri learns Nan-gil married her mother to protect their land from Green Land,
a chaebol wanting to develop it.
As they live together, Na-ri falls for Nan-gil, discovering he’s loved her since childhood.
Their intertwined pasts, involving Nan-gil’s criminal ties, Na-ri’s biological father, and Green Land’s deep-seated corruption, slowly unravel.
Ultimately, they expose the chaebol’s crimes, and Nan-gil, now free from his past marriage, is able to pursue a relationship with Na-ri.
